The Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP) is a Georgia Medicaid-funded program that provides free, in-home skilled nursing and personal support services for medically fragile children under 21. Who provides the care in our home?
All care is delivered by licensed, background-checked Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) who specialize in pediatric home health in Georgia. Each nurse is personally matched to your child based on their diagnosis and care needs. Personal support services are provided by trained and certified personal support specialists.
How many hours of home nursing can my child receive?
The number of approved nursing hours is determined by your child's medical needs and the Georgia Department of Community Health's clinical review. Depending on the complexity of your child's diagnosis, GAPP can authorize anywhere from a few hours per day up to full 24-hour skilled nursing care. Our enrollment team will advocate for the maximum hours appropriate for your child's condition.
Can Oasis help us with the GAPP enrollment paperwork?
Yes — absolutely. Oasis Healthcare Solutions handles the entire GAPP enrollment process from start to finish.
